Johnny Cowling Sings for Precious Lives

Tavistock Friends of Children’s Hospice South West have booked Johnny Cowling to perform at Eagle House, Launceston on Friday 20^th March 2009.

Johnny Cowling is well known in the South West as a talented comedian and singer and is rapidly becoming a popular performer all over the country. Johnny is a versatile performer whose act delights audiences of all ages.

The evening at Eagle House will begin with a buffet from 7.30pm – 8.30pm followed by Johnny’s performance.

The evening is in aid of Children’s Hospice South West’s Precious Lives Appeal to build a third hospice for the South West.

A hospice for Cornwall will offer more choice to families across the South West on which hospice they choose to use. It will also provide a place closer to home for many families from Cornwall and Plymouth, who may find the journey to Little Bridge House in North Devon or Charlton Farm in Bristol too far.

A local farmer has donated a site on the outskirts of St Austell and the relevant planning permission for the new hospice, which is to be called Little Harbour, is now being pursued.
