Pastor Colin Bond

Dear Friends,

I guess by the time you read this I shall be away to Africa again. Thank you so much for your support over so many expeditions. There's much to show as a result of our efforts together, schools, orphanage, church, pastors' meetings, hospitals, participation with radio, scouts, projects, Rotary, conferences and so much that I've forgotten! Now the Sunrise apartments/restaurant are looking real good and waiting to welcome you.

As I leave this time I am looking to our Lord to help the pastors learn and live in the revelation of the Bible by the Holy Spirit. They have faithfully followed their teaching from missionaries but education has suffered from lack of comprehension and calculation. In spite of this they do a great job but deserve to live in the revelation and anointing of our Lord Jesus. Please ask the Lord to open the way and bless and encourage these pastors to walk in new power and excitement. Pray for me to receive the resources, spiritual, teaching, financial and friendship to facilitate this.

Sunrise staff
Some of the wonderful Sunrise staff!

The second goal before me is to see the Sunrise project become financially a benefit to help fund the rest of the work. At present we are paying wages for 20 people from doctors to waiters. Sunrise profitability would certainly help things move forward. Do ask the Lord to open up a market for us, for the staff (right) to be wise, friendly, efficient and really encouraged. They truly are a wonderful bunch. I love them all. If you can come or encourage friends to come that would be such an encouragement to us all. See www.sunrisesafaris.co.uk for pictures of paradise, then you'll want to come. I am sure we can arrange a two-week visit to safari and national parks for less than £1,000 for two weeks and, just for you, 20% commission on accommodation for bookings made this year.

Pray for my safety and faith, for ability to deal with all with kindness and patience. One prophecy for this visit is that there are some looking for me to put a foot wrong (that shouldn't be too difficult for them!), but God will turn it to blessing.

I plan to be back before Christmas and send you news of wonderful answers to your prayers. Pray for the church back at home, Tavistock. Exciting things are happening. Now a great weekend with Ken Gott and 'Father's House' meetings with other churches. There are good moves toward uniting. Come and see us!

With much love and real gratitude,

Colin
