Ambulances to Africa!

The two ambulances now en route for Uganda, with one sporting a Brandon label as a gesture of thanks for their generous help in getting the containers loaded.

On Wednesday 7th February 2007, another forty-foot container of medical and educational supplies left from Tavistock, bound for Uganda where it will help establish schools and clinics. The two key pieces of equipment onboard this time are two ambulances donated by St. John Ambulance Brigade, along with resuscitation equipment, a portable x-ray machine and much much more!

Our great thanks go to Brandon Lifting (Plymouth) and to South West Crane Hire, who very kindly donated their crane-lifting services to give us great help in getting the ambulances into the container.

Please pray for the LORD's protection over the container; ask that He keeps the container safe as it travels to Uganda, allows it a straightforward passage through customs at Kampala, and that the contents get distributed to where they will most give Him glory!

Thanks to Brandon Lifting and South West Crane Hire donating their services, we were able to get the container lifted off the lorry and drive the ambulances in . We think there were angels helping push the vehicles - they just fitted!
