Dec 2006 - YOU
MUST BE ANGELS! THANK YOU!

Land
graded into 3 terraces and work commenced! |
In
October I wrote asking your prayer and support as I returned
to Africa to help distribute medical/ educational supplies,
fellowship with pastors and bishops to encourage them,
and tried to get building for the 'Sunrise Apartments' off
the ground.
As I
must be the world's worst beggar we decided to invest our
retirement savings in this project to entice friends to come
and help in schools, churches and hospitals then have a wonderful
'Safari Holiday' in the game parks, reserves, crater lakes
and wonderful paradise of West Uganda. Restaurant and apartments,
situated on top of a hill, next to President Museveni's lodge,
with exhilarating views across red roofs, woods and banana
groves to the king's palace on the next hill……..should be
completed ready for your visit from next July.
Profits
will help the work among God's people in the hospitals and
schools. Plan a wonderful holiday with us! Read the girls'
reports of their visit, teaching and holiday in July 2006
in the Christmas
2006 edition of King's News.

Medical
supplies are stored in containers on our land and being distributed.
Pastor Stephen, Doctors Gerald and Margaret, Administrator
Peter and staff are eagerly seeking £5,000 to start a 32-room
hospital on the edge of town. A dear friend, Shirl, in Canada
has found funding to send ambulances out. Everything is ready,
just £5,000 and thousands of needy people can be treated.
If you'd like to help you can do so tax-efficiently and anonymously
via 'Sovereign'. Contact me via e-mail or +441 822 616625.
UPDATE:
£5,000 is still urgently needed for the hospital. If
you want to make an anonymous tax-efficient donation you can

| Pastor
Chris Nkussi has worked a miracle! In July I proposed no help
for the slums of Nateete, Kampala unless the pastors pulled
together. Now Chris has a committee of 30 pastors representing
over 3,000 people where if each person donates a small contribution
they can start their own clinic among 100,000 living in desperate
slums. They have started a First Aid Post with supplies taken
out last July to open the way. |

Dilly
(left) is the lovely headmistress of the 'Lukuli Parents School,
Kampala. She works with Stoke Climsland School, Cornwall,
U.K. They help each other in 'Cultural Exchange' and educational
supplies. Dilly works on a very sparse budget, boards many
children and provides education to hundreds. Sadly she has
to go to hospital for operation for breast cancer this month.
She needs £250 for operation and hospitalisation or effective
prayer of a righteous man that avails much. (Jas.5.16.) Please,
please, can you help?

Penpal
letters from the UK being handed out at Dilly's school
|
UPDATE: Since
we made this appeal, people responded quickly to help Dilly: she has
now had the operation and is now convalescing at home. Thank You Father!

| Pastor
Deo leads a work in Kisolo, a large town where the borders of
Uganda, Rwanda and Congo meet. Today (8th Dec), I hear from
him that fighting 10 miles away in the Congo has killed many
and 12,000 have fled to Kisolo for refuge. He faces a tremendous
challenge. Do pray for him, please! |

Deo, excited to receive 'Word for Today' at our home in Uganda |
|
| It
was such an encouragement to share evening fellowship with pastors
and leaders at Fort Portal. We ate pressure-cooked corn
with butter, shared in prayer and communion. There was enthusiasm
to meet in our home again. Rev.Alan Hall and Heather (left,
with Rachel and Colin) live by faith as they minister teaching
to the village pastors but travel is by bumpy 'boda-boda' over
mud trails. They faithfully persevere, rejoicing in progress
but now feel they must move unless they have transport. Should
the Lord touch your heart to provide a small 4 x 4 that will
signify they should stay! Again I will help for transfer of
funds if you need me (or click
here to see how to make an anonymous tax-efficient donation
via a Stewardship Sovereign account). |

We assemble a wheel-chair for amputee Rachel. We found Rachel
trying to cross the street through traffic! |

Jared with orphans |
A
final weekend in Kenya gave me a wonderful time of happy fellowship
with the Kayole people with Bishop Bosco. The afternoon
meeting with 24 bishops and pastors was a real help, unity
cemented, vision encouraged and New Hope for the future. Bosco
needs £450 to repair his 6-seat pick-up. He walks miles to
churches for there's little money available. These dear people
pay a great price to serve our Lord. Can we help? They will
be so encouraged. Contact me if I can help you.
If you've
followed Jared's progress after we'd helped him build a house,
well, now he tells me over 200 orphans attend his school,
20 homeless live with him and family down by the smelly river
at Soweto, Nairobi but the authorities want to close the school
because he has no running water. Another £100 is needed to
bring water in. He has accomplished all this with contributions
from us and with his one hand and an indomitable spirit! Will
you help? How could £100 be better spent?
UPDATE:
There is some money in the pipeline for Bosco's vehicle repair;
some money may be coming in for Jared but it's not yet confirmed.

Pray
for Bishop Sadiki as he works long hours among the Rwandan
and Congolese churches. He is recovering from two bad bouts
of malaria and hopes to return to U.K. in January, money permitting!
A long
day's journey home was rewarded by joyful fellowship, hugs
and happiness after 5 weeks away. We plan to return early
spring to oversee building and plan for summer.
Thank
you so much for your prayers, support and fellowship. God
alone knows how valuable your contribution is. May He bless
you and reward you.
We love
you, thank you,
Colin.
