Uganda
bound!
A container of medical aid is on its way to help set up a hospital and clinic in East Africa.
Tavistock Community Church has been working with a charity called Outreach to Africa, who are supplying the buildings and staff for both projects. TCC pastor Colin Bond will be travelling out to Uganda in a few weeks time, to help prepare the buildings before the container arrives. Colin Bond said, "Once again the people of Tavistock have rallied to our help in donating money towards the cost of the container. They have also supplied much-needed building materials and computers. The Royal Air Force have also come to our aid in promising to fly our Land Rover ambulance out to Africa in the near future. I want to say a huge thank you to them all!" Please
pray - help still needed We also desperately need a large dry secure warehouse or barn. Lack of space means that vital supplies, such as operating theatre equipment and lights, are being scrapped. We have temporary storage until the middle of April 2004. If you can help please telephone us on 01822 616625.
