INTRODUCTION
In the last two weeks of August 2003, two members
of Tavistock Community Church (TCC) travelled to Kenya
and Tanzania. Dave
Palmer (the elder of TCC) and Ken Joynes (church administration)
spent about a week in Nairobi and a week in Arusha.

By
going to Nairobi, they were building on a visit led
by Colin and Joy Bond, the leaders of the church, back
in May (see the report here).
The trip to Tanzania, by contrast, was new territory
for Dave, Ken and the church!
