Computers bear fruit in Africa!

A UK-donated computer set up and working in Rwanda

The photo above shows one of the computers that went over to Africa this Easter with Chris and Colin's trip. In mid-July we received an e-mail with the image beneath attached, showing the use they're already making of the scanner and word-processing facilities! (In case you're wondering, it's a poster advertising the arrival of Dave and Kathy Palmer, who are visiting Rwanda soon with their eight-year-old daughter Helena, and Katy and Hannah Parsons.) You can read more about the Africa computers project by clicking here.

Once again we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who is supplying us with equipment for this project, and to encourage further help for future projects as already we have received a generous gift of inks for the school computers from Inky Fingers (www.inky-fingers.com) which is a great saving on our limited finances!

Thanks from CTA and King’s to...
