Living
debt-free?

are all beginning to feel the financial pinch. Rising cost of
petrol, energy, food, mortgage, borrowing, falling house prices.
You may dream of winning the lottery, a one in however million
chance to live debt-free for the rest of your life.
A dream very few of us will realize.
How would
you feel if because of your debts you were in court, you had no
means of paying and were about to lose everything? Just before
the judgement is declared, a stranger steps forwards and says
he will pay all your debts in full without requiring repayment.
Sounds too good to be true!........
This is the
Good News of the Bible - 'For God so loved the world that He gave
His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not
perish but have everlasting Life' (John 3 v 16). Jesus' death
on the cross paid your debt of sin once and forever. It cannot
be bought or earned. Rich, poor, good, bad, educated or not, we
are all equally entitled to receive this gift.
How do we
do that? Believe that Jesus died on the cross and gave His life
as a sacrifice for you; Repent or say sorry for the wrong things
you have done; Receive or ask God into your life to know His love
and have a relationship with Him so that no matter how tough life
becomes, you will always know that you have a Father in Heaven
who cares for you and is walking it with you.

PRAYER
FOR A NEW LIFE
To
begin a new life with Jesus, please pray this prayer:-
Lord Jesus, you said you wouldn't turn away anyone
who came to you.
Jesus, I come to you now. Forgive me for having shut
you out. I want to stop living life my way and start living
it your way.
I believe you are the Son of God. I believe you died
for me and that your blood pays for my sins and provides me
with the gift of eternal life.
I believe your promise, Jesus. I receive that gift
and I acknowledge you as my Lord and Saviour.
Amen.
